Job Description

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless financial operations within our organization. This includes processing vendor invoices, managing customer refunds, and maintaining accurate data entry in our financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receives, reviews, and analyzes non-standard invoices sent by vendors to ensure compliance with established procedures.
  • Posts invoices, including consignment, freight, FI, and non-ARIBA invoices, across all regions within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Reviews and processes invoices routed through the work cycle that require further analysis due to discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices.
  • Provides quality resolutions and communicates issues encountered in non-complex vendor invoices.
  • Acts as a backup in verifying invoices received and ensures accurate capturing of data from invoices to the Readsoft Verify Module within agreed SLAs.
  • Contributes to ensuring team performance metrics and targets are met.
  • Generates Accounts Payable reports from SAP and provides timely support to stakeholders.
  • Acts as a backup in processing invoices with special instructions.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications:
  • At least two to three years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
  • Knowledge of SAP purchasing, materials management, and reconciliation modules.
  • Proficiency in MS applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and follow detailed instructions with accuracy.
  • Able to work flexible hours or shifting schedules as required by the business.
  • Detail-oriented and demonstrates ability to consistently meet targets and SLAs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a multi-national or shared service company environment.
