About the Role:

As Senior Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and maintenance of financial records, ledgers, and reports in compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This includes ensuring timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. You will also manage and monitor the organization's financial planning processes, including budgeting and forecasting.

Main Responsibilities:

* Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements

* Manage and monitor financial planning processes, including budgeting and forecasting

* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals

* Ensure proper delegation of tasks and responsibilities within the accounting team

* Coordinate and facilitate external and internal audits and implement recommendations for procedural improvements

* Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions

* Ensure timely reconciliation of bank statements and other financial accounts

* Prepare and present financial analysis and reports for senior management

* Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making

* Manage and optimize the use of accounting software and financial systems

* Stay updated with industry trends and recommend system upgrades or process improvements as necessary

* Lead or participate in financial projects and initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals and initiatives

* Assist in the development and implementation of the organization's long-term financial strategy

* Provide financial modeling and analysis to support strategic planning and investment decisions

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

* CPA or CMA certification required

* Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a management role

* In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting

* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

* Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

* Strong leadership and team management abilities

* Effective communication and interpersonal skills

* Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and strategic planning
