The Sourcing Business Process Analyst plays a critical role in the design of business information systems, incorporating updates to ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) to improve company workflow, production efficiency, and effectiveness.

This position requires close collaboration with GCM, IT, and Supply Chain functions to develop and implement price, lead time processes, procedures, and other supporting business infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Update Vendor Master, Purchasing Info Records, Source List, and Quota Arrangement data as directed from GCM.
  • Analyze system strengths and weaknesses, suggesting areas for improvement.
  • Develop strategies to promote business innovation and major process improvements.
  • Analyze work samples and methods, measuring performance, workflow, and work methods.
  • Understand dataset tables in SAP and their interactions for speed and problem-solving.
  • Assist users in analyzing needs, creating detailed specifications for program development.
  • Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to proposed solutions.
  • Analyze impact on other company areas due to issues/solutions.
  • Develop functional and system design specifications.

Technical Recommendations and Testing:

  • Oversee testing and implementation of new functionality affecting business software applications (ERP and PLM master data).
  • Ensure timely identification, tracking, reporting, and resolution of issues.
  • Work with affected personnel to identify required changes and communicate necessary changes to the development team.
  • Communicate needed changes to the development team.
