Job Overview:

Project Lead - Powerhouse Construction

The Project Lead is responsible for leading the planning, execution and completion of all works related to powerhouse construction within a large-scale hydropower dam or pumped storage project.

This position requires a technically experienced leader with deep knowledge of hydropower systems and experience managing contractors and stakeholders in challenging field environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of powerhouse construction package ensuring alignment with design, schedule, quality, safety and cost targets.
  • Manage daily site activities to ensure effective coordination among contractors, engineers and subcontractors working within the powerhouse.
  • Collaborate closely with design teams, electro-mechanical experts and tunneling/underground leads to ensure seamless interface and execution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering; PRC license preferred.
  • At least 15 years of experience in large-scale hydropower infrastructure projects with 10 years in a leadership role specific to powerhouse or major industrial facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of underground or semi-underground structures, high-capacity turbine/generator housing and heavy equipment interface.

Willingness to be deployed onsite with flexibility for project locations. At least 15 years of experience in Hydroelectric/Hydropower/pumped storage/dam/water treatment facilities is required.
