Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Infrastructure Development: Design, build, and optimize robust data pipelines to support our learning platforms and analytics needs.
  • Snowflake Expertise: Manage and optimize Snowflake environments for performance, cost efficiency, and security. Design scalable solutions leveraging Snowflake's capabilities.
  • Amazon QuickSight: Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Amazon QuickSight to provide actionable insights to business and educational teams. Ensure data accuracy and alignment with key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Data Modelling: Develop and maintain logical, physical, and conceptual data models to ensure data consistency, quality, and scalability across multiple platforms and business units.
Requirements:
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Proven experience in Snowflake data platform management.
    • Strong skills in data modelling, schema design, and performance optimization.
    • Proficiency with Amazon QuickSight, including creating dashboards, visualizations, and connecting multiple data sources.
    • Experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools.
    • Proficiency in SQL.
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows.
  • Problem-Solving and Analysis:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design solutions for complex data scenarios.
