Job Title: Content Editor - SEO Specialist

This is an entry-level part-time role as a Content Editor, specifically for refining and enhancing blog content to meet high standards of quality, accuracy, and alignment.

The role involves editing AI-generated blog posts for clarity, coherence, tone, and factual accuracy. You will add relevant reference links and anchor text to improve SEO performance and user experience, ensuring all client-specific discussions, branding, and messaging are appropriately represented.

Responsibilities:
  • Edit blog posts to meet quality, accuracy, and client alignment standards.
  • Refine and enhance blog content for clarity, coherence, and tone.
  • Add relevant reference links and anchor text to improve SEO performance.
  • Ensure accurate representation of client-specific discussions, branding, and messaging.
  • Select and insert appropriate images with effective alt text.
  • Conduct thorough proofreading to eliminate grammatical errors and typos.
  • Maintain a high standard of content quality, adhering to project guidelines and client expectations.
  • Edit multiple articles while maintaining accuracy and quality.
Requirements:
  • Proven editorial background with extensive experience in editing and proofreading various types of content.
  • AP style proficiency is ideal, but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with basic SEO principles, including keyword integration, linking strategies, and on-page optimization.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong language skills.
  • Proficiency with Grammarly or similar tools is required.
  • Able to work quickly and efficiently, maintaining productivity and efficiency.
  • Excellent written communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
