Job Summary

The Audit Associate position at Storagemart Corporation is a key role that plays a crucial part in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement audit plans and programs to assess the company's financial and operational activities.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify areas of high risk and prioritize audit activities, evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, recommend improvements, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide guidance on risk management and internal controls, serving as an advisory resource for internal control and compliance matters.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and management responses, presenting audit findings to senior management and the Audit Committee.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of internal auditing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards, principles, and practices, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and audit management software.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, high ethical standards, and integrity.
