Quality Assurance Professional

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure seamless product configurations.
  • Conduct thorough functional, regression, and integration testing to validate end-to-end workflows.
  • Support release activities by validating bug fixes and performing smoke tests in staging and production environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria.
  • Analyze change impacts on system functionality and identify potential requirement gaps.
  • Utilize internal tools to validate data flows, business rules, and system behavior.
  • Log, track, and retest defects to ensure timely and complete resolution.
  • Contribute to QA process improvement and ensure adherence to established quality standards.
  • Document testing procedures and results to support future test cycles.
  • Generate detailed test reports and summaries for stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communicator with fluency in English (minimum B2 level) and comfortable working with distributed teams.
  • Willingness to learn QA tools and concepts (e.g., Jira, TestRail, defect management).
  • Ability to analyze logs, detect anomalies in system behavior, and report bugs clearly.
  • Familiarity with XML, JSON, SQL, or scripting languages is a plus.
  • Willing to adapt to shifting priorities and work shifts that overlap with UK business hours.
