  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings for parts, assemblies, and complete systems.
  • Develop technical drawings based on engineering sketches, specifications, and related data.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
  • Maintain and update project files on the SolidWorks server.
  • Apply appropriate GD&T standards and adhere to drafting standards.
  • Organize drawing files and maintain revision control procedures.
  • Support BOM development and documentation.
  • Prepare standard drawings, installation instructions, and assembly guides.
  • Validate drawings for accuracy and completeness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in CAD, Drafting, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in roles requiring SolidWorks for 2D and 3D modeling.
  • High proficiency in 2D and 3D solid modeling using SolidWorks, including assemblies, part modeling, and drawing generation.
  • Excellent file management and project organization skills.
  • Prior experience with scaffolding, guard railing systems, or similar mechanical structures is a plus.
  • Familiarity with GD&T and industry standards such as ASME Y14.5.
