Expert Backend Software Developer Required

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced software professional to collaborate with our remote team. As a distributed organization, we utilize the latest data management technologies and require a skilled backend developer who can work effectively in a virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate ideas clearly and efficiently through various tools such as Teams, Office365 & GitHub.
  • Contribute to all aspects of software development including investigating issues, designing new features and delivering solutions for customers.
  • Think creatively to provide innovative solutions and continually improve products by staying up-to-date with industry developments.

The ideal candidate will possess back-end development expertise, strong communication skills and experience working with remote teams. They should be able to contribute to planning/design sessions, work effectively with remote tools and think creatively to provide innovative solutions.

Requirements:Essential:
  • Previous C# experience.
  • Understanding and application of object-oriented design principles, design patterns and SOLID principles.
  • Unit and integration testing.
Bonus:
  • Knowledge and understanding of Agile practices (Kanban / Scrum etc).
  • Experience with GitHub tools and workflows (git repositories / issues / planner).
  • Good SQL Server DBA/dev practices.
