Job Opportunity: EUC Specialist

We are seeking an experienced End User Computing (EUC) specialist to provide technical support and expertise in desktop engineering, virtualization, and cloud computing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft Windows 11 and Office products, as well as experience with Azure Active Directory, Endpoint Manager, Teams, and Exchange Online.

You will work closely with customers to ensure solutions to their issues or requests are met promptly. You will also collaborate with the Information Security and other Infrastructure Teams on both projects and urgent fixes.

  • Provide second-tier support for escalated issues related to Dell, Microsoft, and Apple Workstations and Laptops troubleshooting, Windows, Mac OS, and Linux Operating Systems support, VMWare Virtual Desktops, VMware Horizon, all End User Software procured by Cboe, Azure Cloud Technologies configuration and support, Network troubleshooting, MS Office, Copilot products, Advanced hardware troubleshooting, Video Conferencing Equipment and software, Remote Access, Mobile Device Management Systems, IOS issues and management, Printers/Copiers configuration
  • Responsible for day-to-day tasks: Hardware and Software Procurement and Asset Management, Virtual Desktop Administration, Software Deployment, Break/Fix Support, AD Management, EUC Project work, Vendor Management, Identify common issues/inefficiencies and work towards stream-lining our processes, Provide local and remote support for end-users globally, Train end-users in technology and communicate changes which will affect them

The ideal candidate has:

  • Minimum of 3-year experience as a EUC specialist or equivalent work experience
  • Thorough understanding of Microsoft Windows 11 and Office products
  • Solid background in Azure Active Directory, Endpoint Manager, Teams, Exchange Online
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server, Domain Controllers, DNS, DFS, and DHCP
  • Solid background in AD administration including Group Policies and Security Groups
  • Develop a cooperative relationship with end-users of all technical abilities
  • A drive to create an atmosphere of competence, trust, and respect with all end-users
  • An 'automate everything' attitude and desire for effective and efficient processes
  • Highly methodical and analytical approach to problem solving and evaluating technologies
  • Works well in a team environment
