We're seeking an Application Support Analyst to join our team, where you'll troubleshoot and maintain high-impact telecom applications, collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and optimize systems for performance and reliability.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in application support and a strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices in IT service management.
You'll be responsible for:
- Troubleshooting, escalating, and resolving application issues in accordance with SLAs
- Contribution to high-severity incident reviews and driving root cause analysis and preventative actions
- Maintenance of key telecom applications to minimize downtime and service disruptions
- Serving as the primary liaison between IT support teams, business units, and vendors for application-related concerns
- Identification and implementation of process enhancements, automation solutions, and system optimizations to boost efficiency and user experience
- Adherence to industry regulations, company policies, and security best practices, including compliance with ISO27001 standards
- Maintenance of comprehensive documentation, generation of reports on performance metrics, and delivery of insights to support management decisions
- Reduction of operational support costs through continuous improvement initiatives
The successful candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in application support
- Experience in the telecommunications industry supporting telecom-specific applications
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices in IT service management
- Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages, and system administration
- Familiarity with incident management tools such as Salesforce
- Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, and integrations is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate written communication
- Ability to communicate ideas and information clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization
- High level of self-motivation, organization, and the ability to work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision
