About the Role

This is a senior management accounting position, reporting to an Australia-based manager.


Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare and analyze monthly management accounts
  • Present financial results at management meetings
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and BAS/IAS returns
  • Manage external auditor relations and audit queries
  • Partner with Commercial Managers to prepare budgets and forecasts
  • Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) as needed

What You'll Bring
  • 4+ years of experience in Australian accounting and tax, preferably in media or related sectors
  • A qualified accountant (CA/CPA preferred)
  • Relevant experience in diverse revenue streams such as memberships, events, and advertising
  • Sage Intacct experience is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with Chargebee and HubSpot is an advantage
  • Highly autonomous and self-motivated
  • Process improvement-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
