About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our Finance team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our Head of Finance and Controller in maintaining accurate financial records, adhering to GAAP and best practices. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting month-end close procedures and maintaining associated workpapers.
  2. Managing the fixed asset lifecycle from acquisition to disposal, including tracking capital expenditures, calculating depreciation and amortization, and performing periodic reconciliations.
  3. Coordinating with our Revenue / Receivables team to drive timely cash applications.
  4. Executing month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and analyzing balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  5. Reconciling intercompany accounts and ensuring proper elimination entries.
  6. Assisting in preparing schedules and documentation for annual financial audits.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • At least 5 years' experience as an in-house accounting professional preparing month-end close reconciliations.
  • A completed university degree in accounting; CPA (or similar international charter) preferred but not required.
  • Strong proficiency in NetSuite and Ramp, as well as Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Comprehensive familiarity with GAAP accounting, with advanced proficiency in lease accounting a plus.
