Job Opportunity

Our organization is seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with experience in the fintech industry. This individual will work closely with our engineering team to deliver software testing best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts to ensure quality and reliability of software products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and identify test scenarios
  • Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test suites to validate software functionality
  • Utilize defect tracking and management tools like JIRA or Bugzilla to report and track issues
  • Participate in CI/CD pipelines, integrating testing suites to support continuous delivery
  • Conduct API testing using tools like Karate to verify backend functionalities
  • Maintain and update automated test scripts to adapt to changes in software features
  • Analyze test results and provide feedback to stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of issues
  • Contribute to improving testing processes and implementing best practices
  • Perform regression, smoke, and exploratory testing across different environments and browsers
  • Support UAT and production release cycles, ensuring seamless deployment and minimal defects
  • Document test evidence and maintain traceability to requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer demonstrating proficiency in automation testing
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Experience in test plan development, test case creation, execution, and reporting
  • Familiarity with defect tracking and management tools like JIRA or Bugzilla
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and collaboration skills with ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively
  • ISTQB or similar certification is a plus showing commitment to quality assurance standards
  • Familiarity with automation scripting using Cypress and Selenium with proven ability to develop and maintain automated test scripts
  • Experience with API testing using tools like Karate is an advantage
  • Proficient in using Cypress and WebdriverIO for front-end and end-to-end test automation
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Java-based frameworks
  • Experience working in Agile environments actively participating in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives
  • Skilled in using GitLab and Jenkins for CI/CD integration
  • Solid background in testing both web and mobile applications (Android and iOS)
