About the Job

We are seeking a skilled technician to join our team at Business Trends Philippines. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine inspections of all common areas within the managed property, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and sanitary rooms.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Routine inspection of all common areas, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and sanitary rooms.
  2. Regular checking and cleaning of all electrical and mechanical equipment, with preventive maintenance performed in accordance with OEM/contractor schedules.
  3. Hourly monitoring, checking, and logging of operational data from equipment and accessories.
  4. Reporting any abnormalities to the Building Engineer/Property Manager through written reports.
  5. Performing electric and water readings.
  6. Assisting in monitoring fit-out works and reporting any non-compliance/violations by contractors within the premises.
  7. Collaborating with the Building Engineer/Property Manager in formulating preventive maintenance and improvement plans for the premises.
  8. Attending to job requests and other emergency jobs as necessary.
  9. Performing basic troubleshooting of critical equipment such as air-conditioning systems, generator sets, elevators, and all mechanical pumps installed in the managed property.
  10. Performing other tasks as assigned.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a technical vocational graduate (NCII Tesda) certification and at least 6 months to 1 year of work experience in the property management industry.

The candidate should possess sound interpersonal skills to manage diverse client representatives and demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex operational matters on a daily basis.

In addition, the candidate should have basic understanding in MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel) and basic communication skills (spoken and written).

The following competencies are required for success in this role: Work Order Management, Familiarity with Technical Property Management Operations, Basic Understanding in MS Office, and Basic Communication.

The personal characteristics required for this role include being well-groomed and mannered, demonstrating integrity, self-motivated, flexible, goal-oriented, and a strong communicator.
