Project Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced project manager to lead complex customer-facing projects from start to finish.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and completing large-scale projects, overseeing all aspects of project delivery, and acting as the primary liaison between our engineering teams and clients.

This is a high-profile project management position that requires building and maintaining strong relationships with team members, clients, partners, and other stakeholders.

  • Managing projects through their entire life cycle to ensure alignment with client goals and objectives
  • Delivering engineering professional services for assigned projects
  • Collaborating with engineering teams on custom board enablement and Ubuntu image delivery
  • Assisting in developing project statements of work
  • Maintaining project schedules and plans
  • Obtaining client agreement on project scope and timelines
  • Ensuring projects are delivered within budget, timeline, and resource expectations
  • Managing project risks and mitigation plans
  • Driving technical issues to achieve desired delivery outcomes
  • Maintaining regular communication with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Managing critical third-party deliverables for the project
  • Keeping management informed of project status

This role requires excellent project management skills, strong leadership abilities, and effective communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering projects across multiple continents.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven project management experience in delivering engineering services to customers
  • Extensive experience managing projects with global teams and resources
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and Open Source Software
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a distributed environment and travel occasionally
