We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures to protect our network, systems, and data.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement comprehensive security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint protection, SIEM, and vulnerability scanning tools.
  2. Conduct thorough security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
  3. Monitor security systems and logs to detect and respond to security incidents.
  4. Investigate security incidents and breaches, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  5. Develop and maintain up-to-date security policies, procedures, and standards.
  6. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the IT infrastructure.
  7. Stay current with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.
  8. Provide security awareness training to employees.
  9. Participate in security audits and compliance efforts.
  10. Automate security tasks and processes where possible.
  11. Research and evaluate new security technologies and solutions.
  12. Contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensive security strategy.
  13. Protect sensitive data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Implement data loss prevention (DLP) and encryption solutions. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
  14. Report to the Head of IT and Security Operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
  • Experience with various security tools and technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, SIEM, and vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Knowledge of network protocols and security.
  • Experience with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and security hardening.
  • Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH) are preferred.
