Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive network infrastructure designs and implement them according to customer or business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient solutions.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and innovations that enhance the network infrastructure and improve overall performance.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of network designs, implementations, and issue resolutions.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts on the network.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, and customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices to inform strategic decisions and drive business growth.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of extensive network engineering experience.
  • Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN wireless enterprise networks.
  • Familiarity with routing and switching protocols: BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, STP, VTP.
  • Proficiency in Cisco and Aruba LAN switching.
  • Knowledge of QoS, HSRP, IP SLA, DHCP, DNS, NetFlow, TACACS, Cisco ISE, Dot1x, IPSEC.
  • Experience with service management tools such as ServiceNOW, HP OpenView, NNMi, Splunk, Rally.
  • Skilled in a scripting language such as Python.
  • Excellent documentation skills and proficiency in programs like Visio.
  • Ability to troubleshoot network-security incidents.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.
