Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Software Tester to join our team. As a Senior Software Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of software applications.

About the Role:

  • You will develop test plans, execute manual and automated tests, identify and resolve defects, and champion software quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning and Strategy: Develop detailed test plans, strategies, and test cases based on project requirements and technical specifications.
  • Manual and Automated Testing: Design, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test scripts. Leverage automation tools to increase test efficiency and coverage.
  • Bug Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and prioritize software defects using standard bug tracking tools.
  • Requirements Analysis: Participate in requirement and design review meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of project objectives and identify potential quality risks early in the development cycle.
  • Regression and Performance Testing: Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely impact existing product features.
  • Quality Advocacy: Promote a culture of quality throughout the development cycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of relevant experience required.
  • Extensive knowledge of software testing processes, methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall), and industry best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman).
  • Proficiency with issue tracking and test management tools (e.g., GitHub Issues, Jira, Zephyr, TestRail) and version control systems such as GitHub.
  • Familiarity with API testing, performance testing, and security testing techniques and tools.
  • Experience working in Azure with testing and monitoring of cloud-based applications.
