Key Responsibilities

  • Implement efficient inventory control mechanisms to manage ADB assets and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate records of physical inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Oracle Fixed Asset Registry and eProcurement systems.
  • Process backcharging reports for office supplies requisitions and ensure timely payment processing.
  • Validate gate passes in eServe facility for ADB assets and maintain accurate database records.
  • Ensure compliance with contract provisions on annual physical inventory count by service provider.
  • Participate in audit reviews and implement action plans to improve asset management processes.
  • Contribute to strategic review and planning for Asset Management Services to identify efficiency measures and streamline opportunities.

Requirements and Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, engineering or related fields and preferably with advanced training.
  2. At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  3. Leadership experience with supervisory skills.
  4. In-depth knowledge of policies in asset management, inventory control and reconciliation.
  5. Working knowledge of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards and best practices in asset management including storeroom operations, receiving, and disposal.
  6. Working knowledge of an international institution's IT systems and computer-based applications.
  7. Excellent command of written and verbal communication skills in English.
