About the Role

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team as a financial record-keeping expert. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Transaction Processing: Record and process financial transactions in our general ledger system, ensuring accurate and timely recording.
  2. Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in preparing and reconciling financial statements and reports, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  3. Closing Activities: Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  4. Account Monitoring: Monitor and reconcile accounts to maintain financial accuracy.
  5. Financial Analysis: Assist in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting by gathering and organizing data.
  6. Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  7. Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors to gather necessary financial information and resolve discrepancies.
  8. Audit Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation for audits and financial reviews.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy (BSA) or related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in general accounting or a related field (preferred but not required).

**Skills & Competencies:

  • Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external auditors.
