Bounty Fresh Group Holdings, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Farm Health Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, collating, summarizing, and evaluating epidemiological data on disease occurrence in farm operations. This role involves working closely with various departments to monitor and evaluate disease prevention and control programs under the guidance of their immediate superior.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct thorough farm visits or sanitation audits of company facilities with minimal supervision, ensuring the highest standards of animal health and welfare.
- Perform necropsy procedures as required, maintaining the utmost professionalism and attention to detail.
- Oversee the implementation of approved vaccination and medication programs within their department, guaranteeing seamless execution and compliance.
- Submit regular progress reports, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual updates, as directed by the department head.
- Collaborate with other epidemiologists and concerned personnel to investigate disease causes, morbidities, mortalities, and poor flock performance.
- Attend regular AHG meetings and participate in assigned department gatherings, fostering effective communication and knowledge sharing.
- Collect live bird, blood, organ, and tissue samples as necessary for diagnosis, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Analyze basic serology, PCR, histopathology, bacterial isolation results, antibiotic sensitivity tests, and other laboratory procedures to inform informed decision-making.
- Perform additional duties assigned by their superior, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and investigative documents at all times, unless advised otherwise by authorized personnel.
