About the Role
In this permanent night shift position, you will oversee access control, identity governance, audit logging, and endpoint protection strategies across Microsoft 365, Azure, NetSuite, Power BI, and custom applications. You will also manage and evolve the risk register, incident response procedures, and internal control testing processes.

You will serve as a governance liaison between IT, Legal, HR, and business stakeholders to ensure risk-based decision-making. Additionally, you will lead governance enablement activities such as security awareness training, policy rollouts, stakeholder education, and incident response simulations.

Responsibilities
- Build and own the IT governance and security roadmap in alignment with compliance, business, and operational goals.
- Define, implement, and iterate governance policies across security, data privacy, acceptable use, AI/ML, and business continuity.
- Establish control frameworks mapped to SOC 2, NIST CSF, DSCSA, HIPAA, and GDPR/CCPA where applicable.
- Oversee access control, identity governance, audit logging, and endpoint protection strategies across Microsoft 365, Azure, NetSuite, Power BI, and custom applications.
- Manage and evolve the risk register, incident response procedures, and internal control testing processes.
- Collaborate with the SOC 2 analyst to build a sustainable and auditable GRC process.
- Serve as a governance liaison between IT, Legal, HR, and business stakeholders to ensure risk-based decision-making.
- Lead governance enablement activities such as security awareness training, policy rollouts, stakeholder education, and incident response simulations.

Requirements
- 5+ years experience in IT governance, security operations, compliance, or risk management.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing IT governance frameworks.
- Strong working knowledge of SOC 2 controls, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, or similar standards.
- Experience working across identity/access management, endpoint security, policy writing, and risk assessments.
