About the Role:

The Parabroker - Mortgage Loan Processor will play a pivotal role in supporting mortgage brokers by handling loan processing, document verification, and file preparation to ensure seamless application submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Handle loan processing for home loans from fact-find to settlement, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail throughout the process.
  2. Specialize in document checking, file preparation, and ensuring application services before submission to lenders, adhering to Australian lending regulations and lender guidelines.
  3. Review client documentation, including income statements, credit reports, and financial records, to ensure compliance and identify potential issues.
  4. Liaise with lenders, clients, and third parties to collect necessary information and ensure smooth processing, maintaining excellent communication and customer service skills.
  5. Track loan applications, follow up on outstanding conditions, and provide status updates to stakeholders, utilizing CRM software effectively.
  6. Ensure accurate client records and manage document storage securely, adhering to data protection protocols.
  7. Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing broker calendars, to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  8. Assist in marketing efforts, such as client follow-ups and database management, to drive business growth and development.
  9. Collaborate closely with senior credit specialists and in-house mortgage brokers to deliver tailored lending solutions, identifying opportunities for professional development and career growth.
  10. Manage end-to-end processing for loan applications, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues to meet deadlines and achieve targets.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  1. Must hold or be willing to work towards obtaining CERT IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  2. Prior experience in mortgage broking, banking, or financial services is required, showcasing a proven track record of success in a related field.
  3. Strong knowledge of mortgage loan processing and lending guidelines is essential, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
  4. High attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data are critical, along with excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software is required, with the ability to adapt to new systems and technologies.
  6. Ability to work independently and in a team environment is essential, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
