Creative Drafter

Job Summary:

• Create and modify technical drawings, layout plans, and BIM models using industry-standard software.
• Collaborate with design teams, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate documentation and model coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop 2D drawings and 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
2. Interpret sketches, specifications, and design intent to produce accurate technical documentation.
3. Coordinate with project teams to ensure model accuracy and compliance with standards.
4. Update and maintain drawing sets and BIM files throughout project lifecycle.
5. Assist in clash detection, quantity take-offs, and visualization tasks.
6. Ensure adherence to company drafting standards and BIM protocols.
7. Participate in design reviews and provide technical input as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in drafting or BIM modeling in a professional setting.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM software (e.g., Navisworks, SketchUp, ArchiCAD).
• Familiarity with construction documentation, layout planning, and elevation detailing.
• Understanding of building codes, construction methods, and materials.
• Experience with cloud-based collaboration tools (e.g., BIM 360, Microsoft Teams, Zoho Projects).
