About the Job

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to work as an HVAC Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will have excellent diagnostic skills, be able to perform routine maintenance tasks, and possess strong communication skills.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Diagnosing Issues: Diagnose problems with air conditioning units using specialized tools and techniques.
  2. Repair and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, replacing belts, and inspecting electrical connections.
  3. Installation and Moving: Assist with the installation and transportation of air conditioning units and parts as required.
  4. Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document all repairs and maintenance activities and provide clear reports to management.
  5. Safety Inspections: Perform regular safety inspections of air conditioning units to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in HVAC technology an asset.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as refrigerant handling and electrical safety would be an advantage.
  • Skills: Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills; ability to lift heavy equipment; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
