Senior Auditor (SOX) Role

Audit professional sought to lead SOX audits and drive business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans aligned with management/Audit Committee objectives.
  • Analyze and document evidence to support findings, ensuring accurate and actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare clear, detailed audit workpapers and reports that meet industry standards.
  • Identify control gaps and track remediation efforts to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors to foster a culture of transparency and accountability.
  • Advise on internal control best practices and promote audit awareness throughout the organization.
  • Stay current on business operations, IT, and industry standards to inform audit strategies.
  • Communicate audit insights and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Assess emerging risks and promote data analytics and automation to drive business value.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in public accounting or internal audit, preferably in a US-listed public company.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • CPA certification is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks (COSO, COBIT) and SOX compliance is essential.
  • Experience auditing key business processes, such as revenue, procure to pay, and financial statement close.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently with high integrity and accountability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit tools, such as AuditBoard/SOXHub.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for audits and training.
