Financial Operations Coordinator

Our multifamily real estate company is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to support our growing portfolio of assets. This detail-oriented professional will be responsible for various accounting and financial operations, including record-keeping, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
Key Responsibilities:- Record and categorize transactions across multiple entities in Yardi software.
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and prepare account reconciliations.
- Manage bank activity, including intercompany and external transfers and wires.
- Process payments and disbursements efficiently.
- Reconcile corporate credit card activity and ensure accurate expense tracking.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable activity across properties and entities.
- Assist with entity-level financial statement preparation and monthly close procedures.
- Support other members of the accounting team with cross-functional initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in real estate and corporate multi-entity environments is a plus.
- Experience with Yardi software is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
