Job Summary

This role focuses on the design, development, and maintenance of scalable back-end REST API microservices.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for writing high-quality software that works at scale, designing APIs and software architecture, writing tests, building and maintaining reliable applications and services, collaborating with a globally distributed team, displaying technical leadership, debugging issues, contributing to technical documentation, and discussing cross-functional topics.

About the Role

We are looking for exceptional engineers with an academic track record, proficiency in Python and/or Go, history of writing modern software, experience with relational and non-relational database systems, continuous integration and delivery experience, systems programming or scalable web services experience, professional written and spoken English, and Linux experience.

Your day will be filled with:

  • Designing and implementing robust and efficient APIs
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product development
  • Maintaining and improving existing codebases
  • Identifying and addressing technical debt

You will work closely with our engineering team to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers and users.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in Python and/or Go programming languages
  • Experience with relational and non-relational database systems
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery processes
  • Understanding of systems programming and scalable web services
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
