Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Writer-Editor to join our team. This role involves crafting compelling content that showcases the candidate's creativity, while also adhering to strict deadlines and guidelines.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional written skills, with a strong grasp of grammar and sentence structure.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Content Creation: Collaborate with consultants to brainstorm essay directions, provide feedback to students, and edit rough drafts to refine their writing style.
  • Research and Development: Conduct research on various topics to enhance work and align with student interests and profiles.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Assist colleagues in drafting, brainstorming, and reviewing assignments, particularly those with urgent deadlines.
  • Logistics and Administration: Manage logistical needs, organize assignment submissions, draft email updates, schedule review meetings, and prepare meeting notes.
  • Business Growth: Contribute to team and company growth through projects during off-seasons.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional Written Skills: Possess excellent English verbal and written skills, with a strong grip on grammar.
  • Education and Experience: Hold a 4-year degree in English, Literature, Journalism, Education, or related fields. Preference given to candidates with experience working for an education consulting company specializing in college admissions.
  • Portfolio and Samples: Provide a portfolio with a minimum of three written samples (one creative piece and one research sample encouraged).
  • AI-Free Editing: Demonstrate the ability to edit and write skillfully without AI tools.
  • Internship Participation: Willingness to participate in an Internship Day before training.
