Senior PHP Developer Job Description

The ideal candidate for this role will possess a deep understanding of web application development using PHP and Python, as well as experience with relevant frameworks such as Laravel and Django. In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications that meet the required specifications and deliver exceptional user experiences.
  • System Architecture: Collaborate with the architecture team to define new systems and improve existing ones, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
  • Database Management: Develop and optimize database structures, queries, and integrations to support data-driven decision making.
  • API Integration: Create RESTful APIs and integrate external services to enhance system functionality and interoperability.
  • Performance Optimization: Implement strategies to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient systems that meet performance requirements.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code that adheres to industry standards and best practices.
  • Testing and Debugging: Implement automated testing and debug issues to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of PHP and Python development experience.
  • Proficiency in PHP (Laravel, Symfony) and Python (Django, Flask).
  • Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and version control systems.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies and Linux/Unix server environments.
