Megabon Construction & Development Corporation seeks a highly skilled Accounting Officer to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial integrity and cost efficiency of each project undertaken by our company.

Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee cost control measures for all projects, including actual cost monitoring and budget variance comparison.
  2. Monitor project expenditures and ensure compliance with taxation and regulatory requirements.
  3. Conduct cost detail analysis of project site and administrative expenses.
  4. Handle and lodge periodic expanded withholding taxes and other related requirements.
  5. Handle and lodge periodic VAT and other related requirements.
  6. Liaise with suppliers/sub-cons regarding certificate of completion, invoices, and delivery receipts.
  7. Manage asset register including lapsing schedule per asset category.
  8. Audit project payroll and materials from time to time.
  9. Liaise with warehouseman about inventory records, inventory count, and material movements.
  10. Reconcile general ledger account of balance sheet accounts.
  11. Prepare cost analysis and other adhoc tasks as required by superior.
