About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled General Ledger Accountant to join our team in Taguig City. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in finance and accounting, with prior experience in a Shared Service environment or the Oil, Gas, and Energy industries being an advantage.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general ledger activities, including posting journal entries in SAP, creating and updating recurring documents, monitoring and reconciling open item managed accounts, and executing fixed-asset related transactions. They will also be required to clear intercompany customer and vendor accounts, perform balance sheet reconciliation, generate financial statements from SAP, and produce consolidation packages by entering data into the consolidation tool.

In addition to these responsibilities, the General Ledger Accountant will be expected to perform global reviews on extracted transactions, identify atypical postings, propose lists of occurrences to analyze, and prepare anti-corruption accounting controls reviews. They will also participate in meetings for control review and complete SOX, internal, and external audit requests in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, with a CPA certification being an advantage. They will be proficient in SAP, MBC, and other similar ERP and finance systems, as well as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with experience with MS ePowersuit being an asset.
