Job Title: Data Engineer

An experienced Data Engineer is required to drive the design, development and implementation of data engineering solutions. This role will focus on collecting, transforming and storing data from various sources ensuring data quality and integrity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating meaningful reports and dashboards for stakeholders using tools like Tableau, Power BI or custom-built solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop ETL processes to extract data from diverse sources such as databases, APIs and flat files.
  • Develop and maintain data warehouses or data lakes to store and organize data efficiently.
  • Administer and optimize databases for performance and scalability.
  • Create interactive dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools.
  • Implement data quality checks and validation processes.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years minimum experience in SQL, data modeling and database management systems.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, extraction and management techniques.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
  • Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban and Lean.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
