About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned tax professional to lead our tax compliance function. This position collaborates closely with partners to oversee tax return preparation, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.

  • Directly supervise staff and review team-prepared tax returns to guarantee quality and compliance.
  • Prepare and review complex individual and business tax returns, leveraging in-depth knowledge of US Federal and state tax laws and regulations.
  • Provide expert guidance and oversight to junior team members, fostering their growth and development.
  • Communicate directly with clients to obtain missing information and provide updates, building strong relationships and trust.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required.
  • Possess deep knowledge of US Federal and state tax laws and regulations, with experience preparing various tax forms such as 1120, 1120s, 1065, and 1041.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is essential, with experience with ProSeries being a plus.
