Business and Data Analyst Role

In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for scrutinizing the current and future business environment and systems landscape to identify areas of improvement.

You will gather and document comprehensive business and client project requirements, capturing key context, current state, desired outcomes, and objectives.

Your expertise will be essential in developing clear and unambiguous Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) that cater to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You will present detailed requirements to stakeholders to obtain consensus and buy-in.

Review and evaluate proposed solutions for alignment with business and customer needs, highlighting key risks.

Collaborate with Product teams to design and implement solutions that align with our company's data-led strategy.

Assess and manage the impact of requirements on data systems and business processes.

Support development, systems testing, UAT, and implementation by working closely with solution partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Validate test case scenarios against BRDs and audit test case results performed by UAT testers.

Evaluate adherence to change control and change management procedures related to business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scrutinize the current and future business environment and systems landscape.

  • Develop clear and unambiguous Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).
  • Present detailed requirements to stakeholders.
  • Review and evaluate proposed solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product teams to design and implement solutions.
  • Assess and manage the impact of requirements on data systems and business processes.
  • Support development, systems testing, UAT, and implementation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking an individual with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Analysis, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on data systems and management is required.

Proven success in business and quality analysis roles involving complex project delivery is essential.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and stakeholder influencing abilities at all organisational levels, and proficiency with business analysis tools and techniques.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Familiarity with project management and change platforms.
  • Ability to communicate complex data concepts to diverse audiences.
