Job Title: Bilingual Medical Interpreter

We are seeking skilled medical interpreters to provide high-quality interpretation services in various settings.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Plautdietsch, with excellent verbal communication skills and strong knowledge of note taking and memory techniques.

The interpreter will work remotely, providing consecutive interpretation during medical appointments and upholding high standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consecutive interpretation during remote medical appointments.
  • Demonstrate professional and courteous behavior at all times.
  • Support note taking and use memory techniques as needed during interpretation.
  • Follow the consecutive interpretation process and uphold high standards of quality and service.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English and Plautdietsch (target language).
  • Certification a plus
  • Strong verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Familiarity with note taking and memory techniques.
  • Professional and courteous behavior.
  • Accustomed to the consecutive interpretation process.
  • Strong ability and passion for interpretation and customer service.
  • Knowledge of the interpreter Code of Ethics.
  • At least 2 years of medical interpreting experience.
