Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct Chemical and Physical Analyses: Perform a range of chemical and physical analyses using specified methods to produce accurate and relevant results.
  2. Ensure Timely Results: Ensure that analyses are released on time and meet the required standards.
  3. Prepare and Review Data: Prepare, review, and ensure the correctness of data generated in the laboratory.
  4. Prepare Reagents and Maintain Equipment: Prepare the required reagents for analyses and maintain the assigned equipment for proper conduct of laboratory tests.
  5. Prepare Samples for Subcontracting: Prepare samples for subcontracting to other laboratories for analyses that cannot be done at FAST laboratory.
  6. Implement Quality System: Strictly implement the established laboratory quality system based on PNS ISO 17025 and other accrediting government and private institutions.
  7. Ensure Availability of Chemicals and Supplies: Ensure the availability of chemicals and supplies by proper monitoring and immediate requisition to avoid delay in test results.
  8. Maintain Laboratory Environment: Observe guidelines on good housekeeping in the laboratory and its environment, safety guidelines, and proper disposal of laboratory waste.
  9. Confidentiality and Quality Assurance: Safeguard the confidentiality of test results and procedures, and participate in proficiency testing and other quality assurance programs of the laboratory.
  10. Training and Representation: Train new hires and laboratory staff on physical and chemical analyses techniques, and represent FAST Laboratories in professional circles and technical fora as required.
