Senior Financial Professional

This is a challenging opportunity for a seasoned financial professional to join our team as a Senior Bookkeeper/Financial Administrator.

The role involves managing financial operations across multiple entities, with an initial focus on the Australian division and potential expansion to European operations.

You will be responsible for:

  • Processing accounts payable invoices and payments in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Handling accounts receivable sales entries and statements in a timely and accurate manner
  • Downloading and preparing financial reports from various systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Maintaining accurate financial records across entities, including data entry and record-keeping in accounting systems
  • Processing transactions in Dext and Xero for Australian operations, and learning Exact and Facecode systems for European operations
  • Generating and distributing financial statements to stakeholders
  • Executing Excel functions like vlookup for analysis and reporting purposes

In order to succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in Dext and Xero, with strong Excel skills and experience with vlookup functions
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy in your work
  • Able to quickly learn new accounting systems and software
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines
  • Professional English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Basic accounting knowledge and understanding of financial principles and practices

This is a full-time role (40 hours/week) with an initial focus on Australian operations. There is potential for expansion to European operations, and you will have the opportunity to work with multiple accounting systems, including Dext, Xero, Exact, and Facecode. You will also have the chance to support month-end and periodic reports, and coordinate across different time zones.
