Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled cashier to join our retail team. As a cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, operating cash registers, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect payments and make change accurately
  • Operate scanners, scales, and credit card/debit card terminals
  • Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales
  • Accepting payments and ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate
  • Handle exchanges and refunds efficiently
  • Maintain accurate cash drawer
  • Keep the checkout area clean and orderly

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or any 4-year course
  • Sufficient background in cashiering with POS experience
  • Ability to provide quality customer service
  • Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Minimum of 1 year/s experience in a similar industry
  • Average communication and people skills
  • Computer literate
