Job Overview

IQ-EQ is a leading service provider to the alternative asset industry, working with managers across various capacities.

We support clients in multiple areas, including hedge fund, private equity fund, and mutual fund launches, as well as ongoing regulatory compliance and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage designated Private Equity or Real Estate Clients
  2. Review quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
  3. Work closely with line Managers and Technical Teams to ensure financial statements meet reporting requirements
  4. Review investor drawdown and distribution calculations for accuracy
  5. Ensure accurate communication of cash movements between Funds and Investors through relevant notices
  6. Oversee preparation and completion of Client deliverables, including agreeing timetables and monitoring progress
  7. Conduct regular client calls with CFOs or financial controllers for open and effective communication
Requirements
  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrable experience working in a professional office environment, ideally in financial services or accounting practice
  • Experience reviewing working paper files and Financial Statements, or strong accounting background through previous experience and CPD
  • Management of Client relationships and resolving issues directly with Clients
  • Supporting and mentoring less experienced team members
  • Intermediate Excel skills
