Job Description

We are seeking a creative and skilled Production Artist to support our client in the promotional products industry.

  • Creative Designer:

    • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills and creativity across multiple mediums is required.

  • Collaborative Professional:

    • The ideal candidate should be able to work effectively with a dynamic team and provide/receive constructive feedback.

  • Detail-Oriented:

    • Skilled in artwork design and finalization with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail is essential.

  • Time Manager:

    • Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines under pressure, excellent time management skills are required.

  • Problem-Solver:

    • Flexible and resourceful in adapting designs to project needs and client requests, problem-solving skills are essential.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience as a Graphic Designer, Production Artist, or in a related role. They should be proficient with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, and InDesign, and have knowledge of file formats, image optimization techniques, and color management.

Responsibilities

  • Convert artwork from orders into proper production-ready files.

  • Ensure all file outputs meet print standards and quality requirements.

  • Manage the Production Art Queue to maintain timely output.

  • Support the Virtual Rendering Queue and assist with other art department tasks as needed.

  • Vectorize logos, format files correctly, and create mockups for sales teams.

  • Set type and size imprints on promotional products.

  • Create graphics and layouts for product illustrations.

  • Pull product templates from supplier websites for proofs.

  • Send proofs to customers for review and approval.

  • Transition approved orders smoothly into production and monitor status to prevent delays.

  • Communicate with internal teams and clients for revisions and suggestions.

  • Deliver final products that meet project specifications and client expectations.

  • Perform additional related tasks as assigned.
