Job Overview

The role of Network Security Engineer requires a professional to ensure the security and integrity of an organization's computer systems and networks.

Key responsibilities include monitoring and triaging incoming support cases, prioritizing and resolving quick-win issues, identifying and escalating Severity 1 cases, maintaining and updating backlog cases with clear documentation, participating in weekend/on-call support, and troubleshooting issues related to Linux systems, basic networking, virtualization, and cloud environments.

  • Monitor and respond to incoming support cases via a shared queue.
  • Prioritize and resolve technical issues that meet response and resolution SLAs.
  • Identify and escalate critical issues following established protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and structured documentation for all technical issues.
  • Participate in rotational weekend/on-call support duties.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues related to Linux systems, network configurations, virtualization, and cloud services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Linux system administration.
  • Proven expertise in network security devices and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, and Python is a plus.
