Job Description

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and financial tasks, including processing invoices, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining accurate records.

This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role.

Responsibilities

  • Process and pay invoices in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable activity
  • Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment status and discrepancies
  • Perform reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial statements
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures and other special projects as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
