Software Engineer, iOS Core Product

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior iOS Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for leading key engineering and product decisions, actively shipping production code for the Speechify iOS app, working within a dedicated product team, participating in product discussions to shape the product roadmap, and maintaining and enhancing the existing complex app architecture.

As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a product that millions of people use and where daily feedback includes users sharing that they cried when they first found the product because it was so impactful on their lives. You will also support people with learning differences like Dyslexia, ADD, Low Vision, Concussions, Autism, and Second Language Learners, and give reading superpowers to professionals all over the world.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead key engineering and product decisions
  2. Actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app
  3. Work within a dedicated product team
  4. Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap
  5. Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture

Requirements:

  • Experience with Swift Programming Language
  • Experience with SwiftUI
  • Experience in Multithreading Programming
  • Working with CI/CD infrastructure
  • Experience with Fastlane
  • SOLID principles
  • Experience with Git and understanding of different Git strategies
