Curatorial Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Curatorial Expert to join our team at the Global Coordination Center Limited. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in art history, fine arts, or related fields to contribute to the growth and development of our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Crafting and translating auction information, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all platforms.
• Evaluating and updating artist biographies within our extensive database, guaranteeing their precision and relevance.
• Collaborating closely with senior managers to identify and resolve auction data errors, successes, and areas for improvement.
• Conducting thorough research on emerging auction houses to expand our coverage in the Price Database.
• Maintaining a comprehensive collective auctions calendar, utilizing data from 80-100 leading auction houses.
• Utilizing data scraping tools to collect auction data and provide critical feedback for quality control purposes.
• Fostering relationships with key auction houses to acquire vital data, auction results, and timely updates.
• Providing top-notch customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding account matters and site changes.
• Working collaboratively with the Client Services Team to meet production deadlines for paying clients.
• Offering expert support to clients in addressing inquiries about the Price Database and Market Alerts products.
• Swiftly tracking, resolving, and following up on customer issues.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Art History, Fine Arts, English Literature, Theology, or Arts Administration.

Prior experience in or knowledge of Mandarin, Italian, Spanish, or English is desirable but not required.

We offer a competitive salary ranging between $65,000 and $85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
