At Metrobank, we are committed to developing future leaders who can help us secure our customers' financial information.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IT security principles, including network and system security, authentication technologies, server security, database security, application security, communications security, data security, and IT security risk assessment.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who can design and engineer the security infrastructure of our bank, including network and system security testing and implementation of new products and services.

  • Responsible for ensuring that network and system security best practices are executed and implemented.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve continuous improvement in the Bank's cyber defense/resilience posture.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Serving as a subject matter expert (SME) for enterprise-wide IT and security projects.
  • Identifying security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommending changes or enhancements.
  • Analyzing existing cloud structures and creating new and enhanced security methods to enhance the security of on-premise and cloud-based environments.
  • Developing and maintaining security baseline standards for various operating systems, network devices, databases, security devices, and other technologies currently in use in the production environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A graduate degree in Computer Science or Information Security, or a related technical field of expertise.
  • At least 8 years' experience in building/implementing IT systems architecture/infrastructure security, authentication technologies, server security, network security, database security, application security, communications security, data security, IT security risk assessment, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, business continuity, physical security, operations security, and cloud secure architecture.
  • Strong working knowledge and at least 8 years' experience in IT security and IT security risk assessment.
  • Understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization.
  • CISSP, CEH, GIAC, GSEC, or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Ability to think like a malicious hacker to anticipate and defend one's organization against cybersecurity risks.
  • Experience implementing multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, identity management, or related technologies is a plus.
  • Excellent people management skills, including leadership and collaboration.
  • Good project management skills, including task accomplishment and risk assessment activities.
  • Self-managed, self-starter with good organizational skills.
