Job Overview

The position of Business Development Manager, Global is open to highly motivated and experienced professionals who are passionate about strategic leadership and talent development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of hybrid BDRs to achieve quarterly and annual new business pipeline generation targets.
  • Expand the Business Development Rep team using a proven plan.
  • Support BDRs through on-boarding, ramp up, and ongoing coaching and development.
  • Utilize knowledge of Cofense's technology stack to assist the BDR team with lead follow up and proactive outreach.
  • Conduct weekly 1:1 review meetings and hold daily team 'huddles' to share best practices.
  • Coach direct reports on strategies to increase conversion rates and create more pipeline.
  • Build strong working relationships with Marketing, Regional Sales Directors, Sales Operations, Recruitment, and HR teams.
  • Attend weekly Sales Team meetings to maintain alignment with the Field Sales team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven track record of leading Business Development or Inside Sales teams.
  • Expertise in coaching and leading business development teams to success.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately report.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks to successful completion.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience
  • 4+ years' experience running Business Development or Inside Sales teams.
  • 2+ years' experience as a BDR Rep in software industry.
  • 2+ years' experience as an Inside Sales Rep in Software industry advantageous.
