Cloud Engineering Expert

We are seeking a Cloud Engineering Expert to join our Delivery Team and bolster our capabilities with key roles integral to our future success. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of cyberwarfare and technology challenges, working on secure, cutting-edge cloud technologies that protect Australia's most sensitive data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to ensure high-quality results.
  • Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts to validate software functionality.
  • Create and document detailed test plans, performance briefs, implementation guides, and other technical documents detailing configurations, test methodology results, and best practices.
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily standups, and sprint reviews/showcases to drive project delivery.
  • Assist cross-functional teams in troubleshooting and problem identification to resolve issues efficiently.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with container management and orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher/K3s).
  • Hands-on testing experience with cloud and container solutions, cloud platforms, and infrastructure as code frameworks.
  • Expertise in testing lifecycle, API testing, and IT quality assurance process improvement.
  • Experience working within agile delivery processes (Kanban and Scrum).
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on high-quality results.
  • Ability to work independently within a cross-functional team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt testing approaches to constraints or proofs of concept.
